C T Online Desk: Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested Delwar Hossain Rubel, a Jubo League member and an accused in the recent attack on student protesters, from Tongi in Gazipur.
Rubel, identified as the 45th accused in the filed case, is alleged to have opened fire with a pistol during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Sector 11 in Dhaka’s Uttara on August 3.
ASP Imran Khan of the RAB Headquarters (media wing), confirmed the matter on Tuesday.
Rubel will be handed over to police and further legal action in this regard is underway.
