Sadhana Tripura has created a glorious history by taking charge as the first female Upazila Nirbahi Officer of the Tripura community. Her achievement is not only a personal success, but is also considered a unique milestone for the indigenous women’s community of the country. It has become a powerful source of inspiration, especially for the women of the Tripura community.
She was born in Gaumati village of Matiranga upazila of Khagrachhari district. Raised in a simple family in a hilly town, Sadhana Tripura developed herself through talent, hard work and perseverance from childhood. During her educational career, she completed her higher secondary with distinction from Khagrachhari Government Women’s College and later pursued higher education from Dhaka University, the country’s highest institution.
After completing her education, she passed the 35th BCS examination and joined the administration cadre. From the beginning of her career, she earned the trust of her colleagues and senior officials by demonstrating honesty, dedication and efficiency. She also served as the first female Executive Magistrate of the Tripura community, proving her administrative skills.
In January 2025, he assumed charge as the Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) of Bijoynagar Upazila of Brahmanbaria District. During his tenure there, he played an important role in establishing good governance, improving the quality of public services and implementing various developmental activities. Due to his continuous performance and success, in July 2026, he was posted as the Upazila Executive Officer of Phulpur Upazila of Mymensingh District.
Since assuming the administrative responsibility of Phulpur Upazila, he has started working for the overall development of the area, improving the quality of service activities and fulfilling the expectations of the people. According to locals, under his leadership, administrative activities in Phulpur will be more dynamic and people-friendly.
This success of Sadhana Tripura has written a glorious chapter for the indigenous women of the country, including the Tripura people. It is a shining example for women from the backward communities of the society, which will inspire future generations to move forward.
