C T Online Desk: Three people, including two members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), were killed in a road accident in Rautara area of Magura early Friday.
The deceased were identified as Rab members Omar Faruk, 42, and Anis Ahmed, 38; and pick-up driver Mohidul Islam, 28.
Mostafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Magura Sadar Police Station, said the accident took place as a car of the elite force collided with a pick-up at the area on its way to Magura town around 3:00am, leaving the three critically injured.
Doctors declared them dead after they were taken to Magura Sadar Hospital, he said.
The bodies have been kept at the hospital morgue for post-mortem.
