C T Online Desk: The main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party on Friday announced that it would hold countrywide mass sit-in on January 11, 2023.
BNP standing committee member Khandaker Musharraf Hossain announced the sit-in programme from a rally in front of the party’s Naya Paltan central office before starting party’s pre-scheduled mass procession as part of the opposition political parties’ anti-government movement.
He said that Dhaka’s four-hour sit-in would be held in front of the party’s central office in Dhaka.
Earlier in the morning, Ganatantra Mancha, that held a mass procession in Dhaka also announced mass sit-in for the same January 11, 2023 in all divisional cities across Bangladesh.
