C T Online Desk: Tapan Das Burman (70), former editorial assistant of Dainik Azadi, member of Chittagong Union of Journalists (CUJ) and Chittagong Press Club, is no more.
He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital on Sunday (August 21) around 3 o’clock in the morning. He is survived by his wife, one son and one daughter and many well-wishers.He was cremated on Monday morning at the Baluar Dighi crematorium in the city. CUJ and Chittagong Press Club expressed deep grief over his death. Cuj president Muhammad Ali and general secretary Shamsul Islam wishes the departed soul peace. Chittagong Press Club President Ali Abbas and General Secretary Farid Uddin Chowdhury expressed their condolences to the bereaved family.
