C T Online Desk: Sarwar Jahan Jewel Mymensingh : Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Liton, MP for Mymensingh-7 (Trishal) constituency, held a meeting with officials from various departments of Trishal Upazila for the first time after being elected. The meeting, held at the Upazila Conference Hall on Monday (February 23) morning, discussed in detail the administrative activities of the upazila, development plans and improvement of public services.
Speaking as the chief guest at the meeting, Dr. Liton said that fulfilling the expectations of the people is his first and foremost commitment. He also said that he wants to start working in coordination with all the departments of the upazila administration immediately after being elected. He said that everyone will have to work together to maintain the continuity of development and open the door to new possibilities.
He announced that a mini stadium will be built in each union of the upazila in phases. Through this, the goal of creating opportunities for sports for the young generation, keeping them away from drugs and crime, and creating a healthy social environment will be implemented. He also assured of taking coordinated initiatives in the fields of education, infrastructure, agriculture, and employment.
The MP further said that to turn Trishal into an important and model upazila of the country, sincere cooperation from the administration, public representatives, political leaders and people from all walks of life is required. He expressed his determination to move forward by giving importance to everyone’s opinions and suggestions.
The meeting was attended by Upazila Executive Officer Arafat Siddiqui, Trishal Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Firoz Hossain, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mahbubur Rahman, Upazila Secondary Education Officer, officials from various departments, and political leaders.
The officials present highlighted the ongoing activities of their respective departments and discussed the work plans for the coming days. The meeting ended with constructive discussions and a pledge of mutual cooperation.
