C T Online Desk: The newly elected members of the 13th National Parliament have taken oath at the South Plaza of the National Parliament on Tuesday. 

The oath was administered by Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin around 10:42am.

More than 1,000 local and foreign guests attended the ceremony, which was organised under tight security.

The new cabinet is scheduled to take the oath in the afternoon at the South Plaza of the parliament, with the president set to administer the oath to the cabinet members.
