Two members of the Kuki Chin National Army (KNA), including a commander, were killed in an army operation in the remote hills of Ruma Upazila in Bandarban.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) disclosed this information in a press release issued on Thursday morning.
The ISPR further said that during the operation, the army recovered 3 submachine guns (SMGs), 1 rifle, along with other weapons and ammunition.
As of the time the press release was issued, the operation was still ongoing.
