C T Online Desk: A fire broke out at a tannery warehouse in Hazaribagh, Dhaka, on Friday afternoon.
Upon receiving the news, 12 units of the Fire Service rushed to the scene and are working to bring the fire under control.
Confirming the incident, Fire Service Media Cell official Shahjahan Sikder said that the fire broke out at 2:14pm in a warehouse located in Hazaribagh Bazaar.
The fire occurred on the 5th floor of a 7-story building.
He added that 12 units of the Fire Service are actively working at the site.
However, the cause of the fire could not be determined immediately.
The Fire Service further reported that after two hours of effort, the fire has been brought largely under control.
However, it will take additional time to completely extinguish the blaze.
