C T Online Desk: Five people in an autorickshaw were killed and two others were critically injured after a train hit the vehicle at a level crossing in Burichang upazila of Comilla on Tuesday morning.
Burichang police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Azizul Haque said efforts were underway to identify the deceased, adding that the injured had been rescued and admitted to the hospital.
Witnesses said the autorickshaw was crossing the railway tracks when the train struck it, crushing the vehicle and killing five people on the spot.
