C T Online Desk: Fazle Karim Chowdhury, Awami League leader and former MP from Chattogram-6, has been detained at the border while attempting to enter India illegally. Members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained him from the Akhaura border.
The Public Relations Officer of BGB Headquarters Md. Shariful Islam confirmed the matter.
He said, “Fazle Karim Chowdhury was detained by BGB while trying to illegally enter India through the Akhaura border in Brahmanbaria.”
