C T Online Desk: The governing body of the country’s private educational institutions will be supervised by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) or the designated representative of the DC at the district level and the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) at the upazila level.
Apart from this, the concerned divisional commissioner or the representative of the divisional commissioner at the metropolitan level will be in-charge of the president of the private educational institution.
The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) of the Ministry of Education issued an order in this regard on Tuesday.
According to the order, in the existing situation, the post of the president of the governing body or managing committee of the private educational institution has been instructed according to 68 of the governing body or managing committee regulations of the private educational institution 2024.
According to the instructions, the post of chairman of the governing body or managing committee of private educational institutions has been given to the deputy commissioner or the nominated representative of the DC and the UNO at the upazila level.
