Ctg Central  Eid Jamat Committee meet held

C T Online Desk:  The main Eidul Azha  namaj  under the management of Central Eid jamat Committee  and theChattogram  district administration will lbe held at 8 am on Monday next  in stadium adjacent Gymnisium ground as decided in the meeting of the Eid jamat committee meeting held  on June 11 last.

Addl. Deputy Commissioner of Chattogram   Md.Sadiur Rahim Zadid  presided  the meeting  as directed by the Deputy commissioner  Abul Bashar Md.Fakruzzaman held at DC conference hall .Secretary General of the Central Eid Jamat committee Principal Dr.Abdul Karim delivered address of welcome in the meet. He submitted the annual  income expenditure report  before the  meet. He also told that beside the arrangement of  two Eid Jamat  viz. Eidul Fitr & Eidul Azha namaz, Jamat committee distributes relief commodities during natural disasters, distribution of clothes  to the orphans, donation of  sewing machines to poor families for  sustaining self-reliant  and different social welfarebased activities. He urged upon all to complete the Eid jamat nicely and peacefully. The speakers in the meeting  expressed gratitudes to   the district administration for providing pandel, triple and  ceiling & stand fans   at Eid jamat ground   with their own fund . The meeting unaniously decided  that former Principal of Baitus sharif Senior Kamil Madrasha Allama Dr.Sayeed Abu Noman will conduct the Eidul Azha namaz. Mufti Md.Nurnabi will remain as alternative  Imam in it. Sources said  Eidul Azha  namaz  will also be lheld in 93 local  Eidgaons  as earlier  as per their decisions  in respect of timings. The income expenditure reports of  Eidul Fitr jamat of  2024 was presented before the meet by  its Treasurer Alhaj Saleh Ahmed Suleman  which President  of  the committee  approved  it. Vice President of the committee Shahjada md. Enayetullah Khan, Adv. Mahbubuddin Ahmed, Principal Allama Dr.Sayeed Abu Noman, Alhaj Irfan Ali, Dr.Md. Akhtar Hossain Bhutto, Ashrafuzzaman, TM Mahbub spoke on the occasion among others, a committee sources said.
