C T Online Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the 30th national council of Bangladesh Chhatra League today.
Hasina, the president of the Awami League, inaugurated the council of the party’s student wing at Suhrawardy Udyan at 11:20am by hoisting the national and party flags.
BCL President Al Nahian Khan Joy and General Secretary Lekhak Bhattacharjee, among others, were present.
Since early morning, leaders and activists of different units of the Chhatra League have been pouring into Suhrawardy Udyan.
Carrying banners and festoons, they arrived at the venue from various directions.
The last BCL national council was held in May 2018.
