C T Online Desk: BANDARBAN, Oct 5, 2022- Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT) Affairs Minister Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing, MP, today expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for celebrating religious festivals in a festive atmosphere in the district.
He said this after taking Anjali on the occasion of Sharodiya Durga Puja Bijoya Dashami, the biggest religious festival of the Hindu community, in Sadar upazila of the district.
The minister also said, ‘Bangladesh is a country of harmony’ – all people complement each other. He said, religion is for everyone, festival is for everyone. He seeks everyone’s cooperation in making the religious festivals of the Hindus, the Buddhists, the Muslims, the Christians and other religious festivals successful.
He urged people from all walks of life to be imbued with non-communal spirit and united in the work of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to build a ‘Sonar Bangla’.
