C T Online Desk: Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Saturday inaugurated a tree plantation programme at Dhaka Medical College (DMC) as part of the institution’s 80th anniversary celebrations.
The programme began at around 10:15am on the DMC campus, where the prime minister planted a tree to mark the occasion.
His wife, Dr Zubaida Rahman, accompanied him during the event.
As part of the anniversary programme, the prime minister is also scheduled to lay the foundation stones for two female dormitories under the Directorate General of Health Services’ ’20 Hostel Project’.
He will later attend a discussion meeting organised to commemorate the milestone.
