C T Online Desk: Golam Rabbani, Noakhali Correspondent : A human chain program has been held to protest against the ongoing propaganda against Md. Alamgir Kabir, headmaster of Jamidarhat High School in Noakhali Sadar Upazila, on social media including Facebook.
The human chain was held on the Zamindarhat High School grounds on Sunday (April 19) morning with the participation of teachers, students and guardians. The speakers alleged that a group is deliberately trying to spread false and baseless information against the headmaster by focusing on the process of forming an ad hoc committee of the school’s board of directors.
The speakers also said that the headmaster has been performing his duties with honesty and integrity for a long time. A vested interest group has engaged in propaganda to tarnish his reputation. They demanded that the matter be investigated properly and legal action be taken against the culprits by uncovering the real facts.
When asked about this, Headmaster Md. Alamgir Kabir said, “On April 15, false information was spread in several media outlets alleging various irregularities against me. Which is completely untrue and nothing more than propaganda. A group has done all this focusing on the process of forming the committee. I demand an investigation of the issues by the appropriate authorities. If I am guilty, legal action should be taken against me or legal action should be taken against those who are spreading this propaganda.”
