Fire breaks out at Chittagong Shopping Complex, five units deployed

C T Online Desk: A fire broke out at Chittagong Shopping Complex in the No. 2 Gate area of Chattogram on Saturday morning, prompting a swift response from fire service teams.

Five units of firefighters have been deployed to control the blaze after it started around 9:45am, according to the fire service control room.

A control room operator said they received information about the fire at 9:45am and immediately sent units to the scene. He added that teams continue to work to bring the fire under control and will provide further details later.

Locals said the fire may have originated from a warehouse on the second floor of the shopping complex. However, fire service officials have not yet confirmed the cause of the blaze.
