C T Online Desk: Iran’s Security Council has granted permission for six Bangladeshi vessels, previously stuck in the Strait of Hormuz, to pass through, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bangladesh Jalil Rahimi Jahanabadi confirmed on Wednesday (1 April).
Speaking at a press conference at the Iranian Embassy in Dhaka regarding recent developments in the Middle East, Ambassador Jahanabadi said efforts are underway to ensure the safe return of the six ships.
