C T Online Desk: Engr. Mokarrom Billah from Feni: With the theme of enlightened people, developed Bangladesh, the country’s leading mobile financial service provider, with the support of bKash, books were distributed from the Feni District Shilpakola Academy auditorium to five educational institutions in Feni Sadar Upazila on wednesday, to expand the book reading program.
The event was chaired by Khondaker Md. Asaduzzaman, former trustee and retired secretary of the bishwa sahitya kendra(World Literature Center), and feni deputy commissioner Saiful Islam was present as the chief guest. Feni additional deputy commissioner (Education and ICT) Ms. Fatima Sultana, bKash Limited EVP and Head of Regulatory and Corporate Affairs Humayun Kabir, and District Education Officer Md. Shafi Ullah were present as special guests.
The program was hosted by Mesbah Uddin Ahmed Sumon, joint director [program] of the bishwa sahitya kendra(world literature center).
At the beginning of the event, a quiz competition was also organized for students from class 6 to 9. At the end, 40 quiz winners were officially awarded books as prizes.
