C T Online Desk: Professor M Aminul Islam, special assistant to the Chief Adviser in charge of the Ministry of Education, has resigned.
He submitted his resignation to the secretary of the Cabinet Division on Monday afternoon.
His resignation comes a few days after Dr M Aminul Islam had announced on Facebook that he had received an invitation to take oath as an adviser. It was presumed he would become the education adviser.
However, later on 4 March, Professor CR Abrar of Dhaka University took oath as the Education Advisor.
