C T Online Desk: Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, the adviser for the ministries of local government as well as youth and sports, has said the main goal of Tarunner Utsab – a festival of youth planned to be held early next year – is to rebuild the country and move forward with state reforms while maintaining national unity.
The adviser made the remarks during the logo unveiling ceremony and mascot reveal for the Bangladesh Premier League 2025 at Hotel InterContinental in Dhaka on Sunday.
At the time, Asif also extended his special thanks to Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus for his efforts towards making the event a success.
“To transform grief into strength, Tarunner Utsab 2025 is being organized under the slogan “Let us change the country, let us change the world,” which will take place from December 30 to February 8.
He added: “We always want to remember the martyrs of the July revolution in moments of happiness, sorrow, joy, and pain. Our goal is to fulfil their dreams of sacrifice.”
He further said sports, especially cricket, have the unique power to unite people, transcending differences in all other areas of life.
The Dana 36 mascot was created as a symbol of the recent student-public movement and political change.
Designed in the shape of a dove with 36 colourful feathers, it represents Bangladesh’s spirit of independence and the collective strength of its sports community.
The mascot embodies peace, resilience, and the unity that defines the nation.
