C T Online Desk: The High Court on Wednesday acquitted BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in Zia Charitable Trust corruption case in which she was sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment by a lower court.
The court scraped the trial court verdict that sentenced Khaleda and two others in the same case.
The High Court bench of Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Syed Enayet Hossain delivered the judgement.
