C T Online Desk: Sarwar Jahan Jewel: Inauguration of BINA’s Annual Research Review Workshop (2023-24) was held at Mymensingh (Bangladesh Atomic Agriculture Research Institute) for 5 days. A discussion meeting was organized on this occasion in the conference room of Bina last Saturday (November 16) afternoon. Director General of Bina Dr. Abul Kalam Azad spoke as the chief guest in the meeting, Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Dr. Mohammad Emdad Ullah Mia. Speaking as a special guest, Director General of Agriculture Extension Department. Saiful Alam, coordinator of the event Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, member of the management council of Bina. Shafiqul Alam Sohel, member of Bina’s Board of Directors, Anisuzzaman Anis. Also, BINA Director (Research) Dr. Md. Ekramul Haque delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. During this time, the speakers gave suggestions to Binar researchers to carry out their responsibilities properly in each substation of Binar. Binar scientists also praised the people for making great contribution in the field of agriculture and also suggested to increase the production according to the demand by maintaining the quality of domestic agricultural products. For the sake of the country, agricultural research should convey to the world that Bangladesh is a major agricultural country. So request seniors and juniors to work together. The speakers also said that researchers will be able to gain experience from each other’s research from this workshop. Earlier, coordinator of the program Mohammad Mizanur Rahman and Chief Scientific Officer of BINA presented a brief summary of the progress of the project for 2023-24. Md. Siddiqur Rahman. It should be noted that for the next 5 days, the scientists of various research departments will present their future plans to the experts through the presentation of power points in different sessions.
