C T Online Desk: A meeting of the Hajj Jatri Kollyan Parishad was held on Monday at Hotel Paramount auditorim in the city with its President Ahmadul Islam Chowdhury in the chair. The speakers said the registration of Hajj pilgrims undergoing till November 30 next . If the hajj costs not further lowered , the allocated hajj quota may not be fulfilled more than one third , speakers opined in the meeting. Secretary general of the HJKP Principal Dr.Abdul Karim delivered address of welcome . Among others , Prof. Dr.AKM Saifuddin of CVASU, Prof. Kazi Shahdat Hossain, Abu Md. Nurul Islam, Jahedur Rahman, Principal Dr.Md. Nurul Amin, Md. Idris Agrabadi, Adv.Nurul Alam Chowdhury, Kazi Moulana Shihabuddin, Kazi Ariful Islam, Md.Naim Nimu, Adv.Md. Samiuddin, Humayun Kader, Meher Ali spoke on the occasion duly moderated by the Joint Secretary General Alhaj Saleh Ahmed Suleman. They congratulated the Religious Affairs Advisor for minimising hajj package cost on October 30 last and also desired for more cost minimising with the consultation of Saudi Govt and the Bangladesh Biman for more flight concession aimed at fulfilling the full hajj quota, a HJKP sources said.
