C T Online Desk: The Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has taken two more coordinators of the Anti-discrimination Students’ Movement into their custody.
Sarjis Alam and Hasnat Abdullah were taken into custody on Saturday evening, DMP Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Junaed Alam Sarkar told the media.
They were taken into custody for their safety and to collect information about recent incidents, he added.
On Friday afternoon, the DB police picked up three student leaders – Nahid Islam, Asif Mahmud, and Abu Baker Mazumdar – from Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital in the capital’s Dhanmondi area.
