Quota Reform Movement : Students give police, BGB 1-hour ultimatum to leave DU campus

Quota reform protesters on Wednesday gave police and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel a one-hour ultimatum to leave the Dhaka University campus.

Nahid Islam, a coordinator of the “Anti-discrimination Student Movement”, confirmed the matter to the newsmen on Wednesday.

Earlier, seven platoons of BGB were deployed on DU campus in an effort to maintain law and order amid the ongoing quota reform movement.

BGB members were seen stationed in front of the Senate Building of Dhaka University on Wednesday morning.
