C T Online Desk: ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP, founder of Rouzan Dairy Farm and elected from the Raozan constituency, received the National Award ‘Dairy Iconic’ medal under the Dairy Development Project of the Livestock Department for his unique contribution to the farm and development of the farm. He is also the chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Railway Ministry. Fisheries Livestock Minister Md. Abdur Rahman MP was the chief guest on the occasion. The special guest was Saeed Mahmud Belal Haider, Secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock. The Director General of the Livestock Department Md. Rezul Haque presided over the meeting. ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury won the Environment Medal as the first National Award in the 21st for his special contribution to the balance of the environment. He then received the Bangabandhu National Agricultural Medal for the second time in recognition of his unique contribution to the agriculture sector.
He also received the national award for the third time for planting 4 lakh 87 thousand saplingsin Raozan upazila in one hour. He was awarded for the fourth time in recognition of his important contribution to the fishery. MP Fazle Karim Chowdhury also received the Prime Minister’s National Award for the fifth time in 2022 for contribution in agri sector.
