1st Gold Crown Comptn of Jatiya Gita Parishad held in Ctg

C T Online Desk: The first Gold Crown Gita Competition organized by the Bangladesh Jatiya Gita Parishad was held on 19th April 2024 at Golpahar Sri Sri Mahashashan Kali Mandir premises of Chattogram. A total of more than 1000 contestants from different districts of Bangladesh participated in the competition. The competition program was inaugurated by Srimat Swami Tapnananda Giri Maharaj, principal of Shankar Math and Mission, Srimat Swami Videhananda Puri Maharaj, principal of Onkarreshwar Math and Mission, was present as the benediction, professor of Dhaka University, former ambassador and central president of Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Parishad Dr. Neem Chandra Bhowmik was present as the chief guest.  Chittagong Metropolitan General Secretary Advocate Nitai Prasad Ghosh, Asiatic Super Petro Ltd. CEO Monilal Das. National Gita Parishad central president Lion RK Das presided over and General Secretary Lion Munmun Datta Munnar conducted the meeting as the main speaker of Chittagong University Sanskrit Department professor Kushal Baran Chakraborty, religious speech was given by teacher Uttam Kumar Chakraborty, journalist Lion Sujit Kumar Das, Golpahar Mahasashan Kali Mandir Management Council President Dodul Kanti Dutta, General Secretary Vishwanath Das Vishu, Vice President Ruvel Dey, Priyatosh Chaudhuri, Teachers Belton Kanti Nath, Amalakrishna Nath Tutul, Advocate Nikhil Kumar Nath, Siddharth Shankar Das Sidhu, Advocate Susen Kanti Das, Ratan Sen Munna The leaders of various district, upazila and metropolitan committees of the country were present  . In the Gita competition held throughout the day, the first winner was Shashi Talukder Pooja, the second gold crown was Prami Ghosh and the joint third place was Jai Gopal Vanik and Aushwarya Nath. Bangladesh Jatiya Gita Parishad published a book on the occasion of the event.
