Chittagong Circuit House Conference Room on Saturday at 8am on the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education, the Secondary Education Development Program (SEDP), implemented by the Directorate .
In this workshop, District Education Officer of 4 districts of Chittagong Division, Upazila Executive Officer and Upazila Secondary Education Officers participated in the program. The cooperation of the local administration is very important in order to manage the study at the field level well and successfully.
Therefore, this orientation workshop was organized to inform the Upazila Executive Officer and Upazila Secondary Education Officers of the Upazila Secondary Education Officers in every divisional city of the country.Chittagong Divisional commissioner was the keynote speaker which was chaired by Prakash Kanti Chowdhury, former Vice -Chancellor of Stamford University and Professor Muhammad Ali of the World Literature Center.
Deputy Minister of Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury said that in order to get used to the new curriculum that the government has introduced, the books included in the text development program should be read.Professor Muhammad Ali Naki said, not only read the book but also to increase the lesson skills.He requested the Deputy Minister of Education at the workshop, realizing the importance of the curriculum development program and extending the term of the program.
Speaking on the special guest, Deputy Commissioner Abul Bashar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman said that not only students and parents should be involved with the study development program.Calling on the Upazila Secondary Education Officers, he said that they should confirm that the teachers work in the library for 5 hours a week.He expressed optimism that the study development program would play a very effective role in creating reading skills.He directed the Upazila Executive Officer and Upazila Secondary Education Officers to work sincerely for the program and to provide all the workers of the World Literature Center at the field level.
