C T Online Desk: Rapid Action Battalion on Monday said that they had arrested two operatives of extremist outfit Jamaatul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya after an ‘exchange of fire’ at Kutupalong Rohingya camp of Ukhia in Cox’s Bazar on early Monday.
The RAB, in a text message, said that they had arrested the group’s policy maker and armed wing chief Ranbir and explosive expert Bashar with firearms and explosives.
They also shared videos of a ‘shoot out’ between RAB members and ‘extremists’ at Kutupalong Rohingya camp.
The text sent by the RAB said that they conducted a drive at the camp to arrest top leaders of the extremist organisation.
