470-bed Evercare Hospital starts journey in Ctg

C T Online Desk: The official journey of Evercare Hospital with 470 beds has started in Chittagong. The hospital was officially inaugurated on Monday afternoon. Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi MP, Health Minister Zahid Malek and Evercare Group Board of Directors Chairman Matthew Hobart were present.

Chief guest of the inauguration ceremony, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi said, when we formed the government for the fourth time in 2019, our promise to the people was to realize the dream of the father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and to transform Bangladesh into a developed country by 2041. It is important to provide world-class and quality healthcare for the people of developed economies. In this regard, the opening of operations of Evercare Hospital Chittagong, a global hospital chain capable of providing superior services, will serve as a milestone in achieving our goals.

Health Minister Zahid Malek said that during the Covid-19 global pandemic, an unprecedented crisis has arisen in the healthcare sector. However, through the collective efforts of all of us around the world, we were able to successfully overcome the adverse conditions of that time. The inauguration of this internationally recognized hospital will make significant progress in ensuring the health care of the people of Chittagong division and its surrounding areas including the port city of Chittagong.
