C T Online Desk: Public awareness meeting on the prevention of counterfeit, unregistered and expired medicines and the rational use of antibiotics were held at the auditorium of Raozan Pourasava yesterday morning with President of the Raozan Chemist & Druggists Association Md. Taslimuddin Chowdhury in the chair.
This meeting was held on October 1 (Saturday) at 12:00 pm in the conference room of Raozan municipality as arrnaged by the Directorate of Drug Administration Chittagong in collaboration with Rouzan Chemists and Druggists Association.
The chief guest of the meeting was Mayor of Raozan municipality Zamir Uddin Parvez. Mohammad Taslim Uddin, the president of Rouzan Chemists and Druggists Association presided. , Sakhawat Hossain Raju Akand , Inspector Drug Admin Directorate,Chattogram was the principal speaker in the meeting. . General Secretary Prasun Kanti Das Dolan was the special guest. Sagar Sheel. Khaled Ansari and Tipu Deb Nath spoke on behalf of the pharmacy owners. In the meeting, a proposal was made to establish an upazila-based pharmacist training center in Raozan on behalf of the pharmacy owners.
