C T Online Desk: Chief Justice Hasan Faiz Siddiqui has sought the cooperation of all lawyers to reduce the tangle of cases in the courts in the country and resolve cases quickly.
He said this during an exchange of views with lawyers at Chittagong Circuit House on Saturday (August 20) afternoon.
Chittagong District PP Sheikh Iftekhar Saimul Chowdhury told media that about the exchange of views that he sought the cooperation of all lawyers to reduce the tangle of cases in the courts in the country and resolve the cases quickly. He assured that judges will be sent to those courts in Chittagong where judges are vacant.
Advocate Iftekhar Saimul said that due to the high number of money loan cases in Chittagong, he assured to consider whether more money loan court can be made in view of the request of lawyers. He requested everyone’s cooperation in settling the case without applying unnecessary time in any case.
Chittagong District and Sessions Judge Aziz Ahmed Bhuya, Supreme Court Deputy Registrar SKM Tofail Hasan, Chittagong District GP Nazmul Ahsan Khan Alamgir, Chittagong Metropolitan PP Vir Muktijodha Advocate Md. Fakhruddin Chowdhury, Chittagong District Lawyers Association President Vir Muktijodha Abu Mohammad Hashem, and General Secretary AHM Ziauddin among others were present on the occasion.
