TCB goods  found in pvt godown, one held in port city

C T Online Desk: RAB arrested one of the unscrupulous business syndicate from Bayezid of Chittagong city for illegally warehousing TCB products. At this time, 398 liters of soybean oil, 200 kg of lentils and 250 kg of sugar with TCB logo were seized from the private  warehouse.

Arrested Abdul Aziz Sumon (34) son of deceased Sultan Ahmed of Enayetpur village of Hathajari police station. He was arrested at 3:30 pm on Saturday (August 20) from a godown in the depot area of ​​Aturar Depot. RAB-7’s Senior Assistant Director (Media) confirmed the matter. . He said that some unscrupulous traders have stored TCB’s products (soybean oil, pulses and sugar) in a godown in Bayezid area in the hope of making more profit instead of selling them in the open market to the general public.

On the basis of such information, a man named Abdul Aziz Sumon was arrested in the depot area of ​​Aturadepot  on Saturday. Later, according to him, 398 liters of soybean oil, 200 kg of lentils and 250 kg of sugar with TCB logo were seized from a godown in that area.

Arrested in the initial interrogation, Sumon said that he is the fugitive accused TCB dealer Md. Used to collect TCB products for a long time through Babu. Later those products are stocked and sold in empty bottles of soybean oil bottles with TCB logo and sugar and pulses in plain packets.
