C T Online Desk: Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq today said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman used to dream of an independent and strong judiciary in the country.
“The government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has adopted many farsighted plans to make that dream true and constructed many modern infrastructures as part of that plan. The new Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Building in Rangamati is one of the examples of that,” the minister said while addressing a virtual programme to inaugurate the building constructed at a cost of Taka 32 crore.
The law minister said considering the construction cost, construction style, size and facilities of the building, it is surely a modern structure. The newly-built building will surely make Rangamati more attractive.
“This building is only a portion of the development works being carried out by the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. There would be no sector left in the country, which did not see any development by this government,” he added.

Thirty-three CJM buildings have already been inaugurated, the law minister also said.
