C T Online Desk: Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad deputy speaker and brave freedom fighter advocate Md Fazle Rabbi Miah’s body has arrived in the country. His body arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on an Emirates flight around 8:40 am on Monday.
The body will be taken to the central Eidgah ground of the Supreme Court premises from there. His first namaj-e-janaza will be held there at 10:30 am. Due to this, the judicial proceedings of the High Court Division will start at 11:00 am instead of the scheduled 10:30 am.
On July 22, Deputy Speaker Md. Fazle Rabbi Mia died while undergoing treatment at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. He was suffering from cancer for a long time.
The Member of Parliament from Gaibandha-5 Constituency was born on April 15, 1946 in Gatia village of Saghata Upazila of Gaibandha district.
