C T Online Desk: A robbery took place at a house in Mohra Maulvi Bazar area of Chandgaon police station in the city. The robbery took place at Ake Khan’s house between 3am and 3:30 am on Monday. The robbers beat and tortured some people who were at home at that time.
It has been alleged on behalf of Ak Khan’s house that the robbers took away 50 bags of gold and 75 thousand rupees in cash. Meanwhile, Chandgaon police arrested two persons named Sharif and Bappi for questioning. Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) Panchlaish Zone Assistant Commissioner Mohammad Shah Alam confirmed the incident.
