C T Online Desk: Sri Lanka have won the toss and elected to bat in the first Test against Bangladesh at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Sunday.

Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan who recovered from Covid-19 freshly has been included in the playing XI for Bangladesh.

Pacer Ebadot Hossain has been omitted while Khaled Ahmed has been added and spinner Nayeem Hasan returned after over a year of gap for Tigers.

There were no surprises in the Sri Lanka team.
