C T Online Desk: Bangladesh Cricket Board has decided to build 20 more new grounds across the country. Dhaka and Chittagong will definitely get priority in all those fields, said Bangladesh Cricket Board President Nazmul Hasan Papon. “We have decided to build a field,” he said. On the field, Dhaka and Chittagong will be first phase. We have already started seeing the place. We want to have separate and beautiful grounds for cricket in all parts of the country. And we are trying to move forward with that goal.
Papon came to Chittagong on Friday to meet the cricketers of the Bangladesh team. He said the cricket board is always trying to develop cricket in Chittagong. We always think of Chittagong after Dhaka. Because Chittagong is one of the fertile ground for cricket. Chittagong is the first academy under the board in the country. Bangladesh Cricket Board director and former captain Akram Khan is overseeing the academy.
