C T Online Desk: The colorful seventh anniversary and publication festival of South Chittagong Community Portal Banshkhali Express has been held. The publication festival was held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 9 am to 2 pm at the AB Convention Center of Baharchara Union of the upazila. Banshkhali Express CEO Rahim Saikat presided over the function and Banshkhali MP Alhaj Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury was the chief guest. Executive Editor of Banshkhali Express,Touhid Chowdhury gave a welcome speech in the program conducted by Voice Artist Maher Chowdhury, Nazmul Hasan, Afra Rubaba. Additional Superintendent of Police Jasim Uddin PPM was the function opener, Banshkhali Upazila Executive Officer Saiduzzaman Chowdhury, Banshkhali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Kamal Uddin, Vice Chairman Rehena Akhter Kazmi, Baharchhara UP Chairman Tajul Islam were present as special guests.

Cakes were cut on the occasion to celebrate the seventh anniversary of Banshkhali Express and prizes were distributed among the winners of various events. Later, the guests unveiled the cover of ‘Shikar’ an anniversary publication from Banshkhali Express, published on the occasion of the seventh anniversary.
On the occasion, a total of 26 awards of has been to the winners Banshkhali Express literary Competition, Photography Competition, Quiz Competition, Sera Konto 2022 by Banshkhali Express. Besides, Banshkhali Express Award 2022 was given to 5 social organizations for positive, social welfare programs. The organizations are Hajigaon Agrani Club, Swapnatari Sangha, Alokito Ratnapur, Sara Anwara, Ekushey Foundation.
The long 8 year journey of Banshkhali Express has created many well-wishers . Banshkhali Express has been enriched by their love and cooperation. The organizational form of this relationship of love and mutual cooperation is the Banshkhali Express family. The Banshkhali Express family was formed in February 2021 by considering 14 unions and 1 municipality as chapters. The organisation will be conducted by Mentors. Mentors are those who coordinate the work of the organization and lead the implementation. Which concludes the member conference as a separate organization on the same day. More than one hundred and fifty delegates and mentors from 15 chapters participated in this conference.
Speaking as the chief guest, MP Alhaj Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury said Banshkhali Express is a platform for talented youth. I have been watching their work from the beginning. Their creative activities fascinated me. For the sake of these young people, I would like to say one thing today.
