C T Online Desk: Bangladesh Awami Juba League, an affiliate of Awami League, has started preparations ahead of the 12th general elections. Preparations have been made to organize conferences in districts and metropolises to speed up party activities across the country. Following this, the Central Juba League has announced May 30 for the conference of Chittagong Metropolitan Juba League.
Leaders have also started working towards that goal. About 9 years ago, the convening committee of Nagar Juba League was formed for 90 days. Several members of the 101-member convening committee, including Mohiuddin Bachchu and joint convener Farid Mahmud, do not want to be in the Juba League now. All of them are aspiring for the post in the committee of Nagar Awami League.
