Tourism likely to be boosted on Eid in hills

C T Online Desk:  Tourists are seeing the possibility of a record number of tourists arriving in the hills this time to stop the Eid holiday. The traders have incurred huge losses due to lack of tourists due to  corona in the last two years.

This time, if the number of tourists in the mountains increases during the Eid holidays, they think that it is possible to overcome the losses during the Corona period. Ananta Bikash Tripura, general secretary of Khagrachhari Residential Hotel Businessmen’s Association and managing director of Hotel Guiding, said the last two years have not seen much tourist arrivals in Khagrachhari due to corona.

But this time the situation has changed. This time the number of tourists will increase. Meanwhile, Eid bookings have started in 30 residential hotels in the district.
