C T Online Desk: A fire broke out at a mosquito coil factory in Agrabad. Four fire service vehicles brought the fire under control in an hour’s effort.
The fire broke out at around 9 am on Thursday (April 21) at a mosquito coil factory in Panwala Para under Double Mooring Police Station.
Newton Das, deputy assistant director of the Agrabad Fire Service, said he went to the scene in the morning after receiving news of the fire. I managed to bring the fire under control after trying for about 1 hour. Mosquito coils were being made in a semi-detached house. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage will be known subject to investigation.
