C T Online Desk: A woman named Reena Akhter (40) died when a tree was uprooted in a storm in Fatikchhari today. She is the wife of Shah Alam, a day laborer from Jhanjhari area of Kanchan Nagar. The accident took place at 9 am on Wednesday.
Shah Alam, husband of the deceased Reena Akhtar, said that a big tree fell on the house when the Baishakhi storm started in the morning. Reena Akhtar was printed there. Neighbors rescued him and took him to the Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
