C T Online Desk: Cab cars and water buses will go to the Hamid Char project or integrated project in Chandgaon from the area where the Karnafuli tunnel ends in Anwara. For this a common jetty will be constructed in the project area.
Chittagong Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mominur Rahman said that these are being included in the design of the project based on the views of the people concerned.
He said something new was being added to the design of the project. These include cable cars and water buses. These vehicles will travel by air and sea from Anwara to the project area. Therefore, there will be a common jetty in the project area. In addition, two or three buildings are being designed for corporate offices. It is being added to the design based on the opinion of the Prime Minister’s Office and the concerned ministry.
“We will finish the work of adding new designs quickly,” he added. I hope DPP will be formulated after Eid. After the approval of ECNEC, work on the project will start. The proposed integrated project at Hamid Char on the banks of Karnafuli river under Chandgaon police station has been named ‘Mini Secretariat for Chittagong’. Work on this huge project is going to start this year. 44 government offices will be built here. The government project will be constructed on 75 acres of land at Hamid Char in Bandar Mouza.
