C T Online Desk: Chittagong district primary assistant teacher recruitment test will be held in 64 centers. The examination for the appointment of assistant teachers of government primary schools in 22 districts of the country including Chittagong will be held on April 22. The Department of Primary Education has already completed all the preparations for the examination.
The Chittagong District Primary Education Officer said that the necessary supplies have been delivered to the secretaries of each center. The district education officer held a preparatory meeting with the district examination steering committee and 64 central secretaries under the chairmanship of the Chittagong deputy commissioner on Monday. A total of 54,893 people have applied for the Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination from Chittagong this time. As of January, there were 630 vacancies for assistant teachers in Chittagong. However, at present the number may be more, said the district primary education office. According to the District Primary Education Office, the Department of Primary Education has not yet released the list of police station and upazila based candidates.
