Baishabi festival ends in hills

C T Online Desk: The baishabi   festival  from beginning of Pahela Booishak  , ends in the hills in various encouragement and revival. On Saturday, the social festival of indigenous people of Chittagong Hill Tracts in the Marma community was ended on Saturday.

Deleting all the tensions of the old year, the new year is organized in the biggest for the new year every year. A pleasant ceremony organized by Marma Cultural Organization (Masas) this year, like every year to highlight the small people of the hill population, culture, culture, heritage countrymen. The traditional Jalakeli festival was held at Betubunia High School ground in Rangamati at Rangamati on Saturday. Member  of Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Food Ministry Dipankar Talukder MP , who was inauguranted  as  chief guest. Presided over by Marma Cultural Organization (Masas) President and District Parishad Chairman Arju Pru Chowdhury, BGB’s Sadar Sector Commander Deputy Director General Colonel Colonel Md. Tariqul Islam, Rangamati Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mizanur Rahman were present among others on the occasion.
