C T Online Desk: Sarwar Jahan Jewel Mymensingh: The foundation stone of the four-storey building of Bailor Kanhar ADS Alim Madrasa in Trishal Upazila of Mymensingh has been laid. The foundation stone of the building was laid by Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Liton, Member of Parliament for Mymensingh-7 (Trishal) constituency, as the chief guest at the ceremony held on Saturday (October 17, 2026).

Enamul Haque Bhuiyan, joint convener of Mymensingh South District BNP and convener of Trishal Upazila BNP, spoke as the main discussant at the event.

The program, chaired by Madrasa Principal Md. Nazmul Haque, was also attended by Trishal Upazila BNP Senior Joint Convener Ataur Rahman Shamim, Joint Convener Abdul Matin, Bailor Union BNP leaders, Madrasa teachers and students, guardians, and local dignitaries.

The speakers further expressed optimism that the construction of a new building for the Bailor Kanhar ADS Alim Madrasa will improve the teaching environment for students. In addition, this initiative will play a positive role in the progress of the education system in the area and expanding educational opportunities for future generations.

The foundation stone laying ceremony was attended by teachers, students, parents and locals of the madrasa. They welcomed the initiative to construct the new building and expressed their hope for the speedy completion of the construction work.
