If the drain water is not drained normally, waterlogging can occur during the rains. This causes inconvenience to the movement, daily activities and lifestyle of the local residents. On the other hand, navigable roads not only facilitate the movement of local people but also play an important role in improving the overall environment of the area.
The inspection of the roads and drainage system of Islambagh Colony provides an on-the-spot insight into the existing situation in the area. Such inspections can play a helpful role in identifying infrastructural problems in different areas of the city and ensuring the necessary amenities for the citizens.
It is important to take effective initiatives to develop roads, improve water drainage systems and reduce citizen suffering in different wards of Mymensingh city. If it is possible to develop roads and drainage systems through planned urban management, local residents will get better civic amenities.
